 TERMS AND CONDITIONS

To reserve a Property, you must complete and sign the Booking Form and return/email it together with payment of the initial non-refundable deposit (25% of the total Price due) and the signed terms and conditions acceptance document.

The booking form must be signed by an adult party leader who, in doing so, accepts all of the Terms and Conditions on behalf of all the party members.

Following receipt of the Booking Form and deposit, JDV will send an email to confirm the booking. This is the formal acceptance of the booking and creates a binding contract between you and the Owner 

Please check your holiday details carefully at this point and contact us immediately if the information is incorrect or incomplete.

The balance of the holiday Price is payable not less than ten weeks before the start of the rental period. If payment is not received by the due date, the Owner reserves the right to give notice in writing/by email that the reservation is cancelled, and charge a cancellation fee.

Reservations made within ten weeks of the start of the rental period require full payment at the time of booking.
 

Insurance

All holidaymakers are advised to have a comprehensive travel insurance policy (including cancellation cover) and full cover for the party's personal belongings, public liability, personal injury and illness, damage to the property and/or its contents caused by you or your party etc.

Price

Once you have received a booking confirmation statement/email from the Owner the price of your holiday accommodation is fixed. The owner reserves the right to change the advertised price of a property at any point until written confirmation of a booking is issued.

Your Accommodation

The maximum number to reside in the Property must not exceed that stated on the Owners website or Booking Form unless the owner  has given written permission.

 The Owner may collect a security/damage deposit from you, as stated in the Property Information Document. This shall be held by the Owner on trust for the Holidaymaker except in the event that any damage is caused to the Property (including but not limited to furnishings, fixtures fittings and decor) caused by the Holidaymaker(s) during their occupation of the Property. In this case the Owner shall retain that part of the deposit to cover payment for such damage.

The property will be cleaned prior to your arrival. You agree to be a considerate tenant and to take good care of the Property and to leave it in a clean and tidy condition at the end of the rental period. The Owner reserves the right to make retention from the security/damage deposit to cover additional cleaning costs if you leave the Property in an unacceptable condition..

The Owner reserves the right to remove you from the property without notice and without compensation in the event of serious misuse, abuse or damage of the property and its contents.

The holidaymaker and party acquire no rights whatsoever over the Property except occupation as a holiday let for the period booked. You shall not sublet the Property.

You must report to the Owner without delay any defects in the Property or breakdown in the equipment, such as plant, machinery or appliances in the Property, garden or swimming pool. Arrangements for repair and/or replacement will be made by the Owner as soon as possible.

Complaints

In the unlikely event you are dissatisfied with any aspect of your holiday accommodation, you should immediately report this to the Owner.

The obligation on your part to contact the Owner whilst you are at the property gives the Owner the opportunity of carrying out remedial action. The Owner accepts no liability for any claims not dealt with in accordance with these terms and in particular where we are not given an opportunity to rectify the matter
 

The Owner shall not be liable:-
 

For any temporary defect or stoppage in the supply of public services to the Property, nor in respect of any equipment, plant, machinery or appliance in the Property, garden or swimming pool.

For any loss, damage or injury which is the result of adverse weather conditions, riot, war, strikes or other matters beyond the control of JDV.

For any loss, damage or inconvenience caused to or suffered by the Holidaymaker if the Property shall be destroyed or substantially damaged before the start of the rental period.

For any loss, damage or inconvenience caused to or suffered by the Holidaymaker if local events in close proximity to your accommodation create increased noise, disruption, or disturbance.

Under no circumstances shall the Owners liability to the Holidaymaker exceed the amount paid to the Owner for the rental period.

The use of accommodation and amenities where offered such as swimming pool etc. is entirely at the user's risk and no responsibility can be accepted for injury to a user or visitor and loss or damage to the user's or visitor's belongings.

No responsibility can be accepted for any loss or damage to any motor vehicle or its contents.

The bringing of pets on to the Property is forbidden except with the written permission of the Owner

No camping is permitted on the Property grounds.
